I’m a photographer, and I enjoy connecting with people.

In my 20’s I spent my days in corporate America, and many long evenings processing and developing film.  I soon discovered that my ability to read people and make them feel comfortable also reduced their stress and increased “lookability” in the photo shoot.

Perhaps people feel vulnerable or uncomfortable the moment a camera comes out–“Oh, I’m not photogenic, this or that isn’t right about my face, etc…”  But great images come with proper coaching, creative technical expertise, and feeling comfortable with the photographer–then people relax.

I truly believe every single human being is inherently beautiful!

When I photograph someone I look for their good side, their personality, and their essence–this all has to come through in the final image.  I make the photo session fun so that people can enjoy themselves.  I enjoy the creative process of allowing the person, the event, or the ceremony to emerge and unfold.
